This is a truly exciting role to join one of Melbourne's most reputable financial services institutions in the newly created role of Travel Program Manager.
Reporting into a senior lead within the procurement team, this role will see you optimising travel programs across the Asia-Pacific region and leading innovation projects to ensure that the business are utilising best practice methods in terms of cost, quality and delivery with their travel programs.
You will be a seasoned subject-matter expert within corporate travel management and understand the complexities of managing a global level travel structure within a leading organisation. You will be fully accustomed at influencing senior stakeholders and be adept at winning credibility quickly.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, where you will be given the opportunity to quickly influence and drive change all within a very supportive structure from both the procurement team and a wider structure of travel team counterparts across the Asia-Pacific region.
With a 200 million dollar spend across the category, you will revel in both the high level strategic planning and the operational hands-on side of Corporate Travel Management. You will be at the cutting edge in terms of innovation and idea generation, company card programmes and online-booking tools.
In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be present with the following key skills:
- Ideally you will be tertiary qualified.
- You will be a seasoned corporate travel management subject matter expert, with extensive experience taken from within multi-national company structures.
- You will have proven successes of high-level negotiations with airlines.
- You will present with the polish and gravitas in order to be able to influence senior level stakeholders within this newly created role.
- Any exposure and level of understanding of travel category management procurement processes including strategic sourcing and vendor management, will be highly regarded.
