Build / Release Engineer Job in Australia

Responsible for software packaging and release tasks, the Build/Release Engineer oversees the integration and flow of development, testing, deployment and support of the relevant systems, working within a team environment, generally consisting of Project Managers, Change Management teams, IT Environment teams, Development and Test teams.

Knowledge and experience required
Essential:
Relevant degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Typically - 2-5 Years delivering Telco, Business, IT or engineering projects
Demonstrated experience in Java
Demonstrated experience in build and release management processes
Demonstrated experience in communications and Change Management processes.
Demonstrated experience with Java application Servers such as Tomcat, Weblogic
Demonstrated experience with software repositories such as CVS and Subversion
Demonstrated experience with Java build tools such as Ant and Maven
Demonstrated experience in Perl

Desirable:
Certification in ITIL will be considered favourably
