Customer Service Officer Job in Australian Capital Territory, Australia

Our client, The Perth Mint, based in Perth's CBD requires a Customer Service Officer who undertakes various administrative services to the Manufacturing department and attend to the pricing of precious metal blanks and finished coins.

Also to Schedule and process precious metal blank orders and liaise with customers accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

-Produce and compile technical specifications and batch files for products
-Compile quotations and quotes to external and internal customers
-Managing manufacturing customers and their orders
-Supplying delivery dates and general information when required
-Producing statistical information for Silver production area and the coining department
-Entering manufacturing customer orders into Axapta computer system and dispatch when ready
-Manage external precious metal blank customer metal pool accounts
-Process purchase orders for external blanks
-Request quotes for freight from shipping companies
Duties Performed

-Item set Ups into Coin System and Axapta
-Produce and compile technical specifications and batch files for products
-Produce product quotations and costs for marketing and external customers
-Schedule of production requirements
-Maintain blank customer order database
-Attend fortnightly sample production meetings
-Maintain the precious metal coin blank customer files
-Produce production statistics and reports when requested
-General administrative duties which includes filing and following up with enquiries from other departments in relation to manufacturing
Skills Required

-High level of MS Excel skills
-Attention to detail
-Axapta or other ERP system skills
-Good written communication and telephone skills
-Flexible and can do attitude
