The key focus of this position is the leadership and management of a highly motivated and dynamic team of Mechanical, Electronic, Design and Systems Engineers. The successful applicant will join the Senior Management Team, providing strategic leadership and advice on all engineering and capability issues relating to Air Traffic Management Systems. Experience Required: Ideally a degree in an engineering field ( Communications / Electronics)
Proven Project end to end experience
Broad engineering experience base, preferably within Defence Aerospace Industry
Able to manage teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong leadership and management abilities
Business/budgetary experience or an appointment with P&L responsibilities
Applicant MUST be eligible for a Defence security clearance (Australian Citizen) This position would ideally suit applicants with a Defence engineering background with extensive experience in demanding leadership and management appointments. Programs Managers with a high level of experience, natural leadership style and able of getting the best out of people are encouraged .
