Talented Project Manager required for a highly regarded government organisation to work as part of a professional project team for an exciting contract position which will see you working on a range of projects. To be successful in this Project Manager role you will have a strong background in managing and delivering and IT programme of work in a commercial operating environment. You will apply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issue, and frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods.
As Project Manager you will be Degree qualified and have the following skills and experience:
Proven track record in managing a works program involving numerous projects of varying scale, complexity and technologies and delivering results
Demonstrated ability in preparing business cases, project briefs, tenders and contracts
Demonstrated ability in vendor management including negotiating with suppliers and clients for the acquisition and provision of products and services
Demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills and ability to deal tactfully and efficiently with clients, staff and the community, including liaison, negotiation, consultation, and conflict resolution
Governance and methodologies of Project Management
Quality and Risk Management of projects
Proven ability in Project Management discipline and systems
