Electrical Drafter - Substation Projects Job in Australia

I am currently seeking highly experienced Electrical Designers from a power systems background and ideally you will have substation experience.

Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer you will be responsible for drafting and documentation, including generating engineering design deliverables such as single line diagrams, schematics, terminations, general arrangements, electrical & instrument lists, cable schedules, controls system drawings, 3D cable ladder and conduit layouts whilst meeting strict industry standards. You will work closely alongside the engineering professionals within the organisation to achieve project outcomes on time and to their high quality standard.

To be considered for this position you MUST:

-5+years similar electrical drafting experience

-Exposure to related elements such as: substations, conveyors & HV switchgear;

-The ability to work within a team and autonomously

-Excellent Microstation documentation skills

-Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

-Good knowledge of the Australian Design Standards

-Strong communication, interpersonal and client service skills
