Credit Officer - Permanent - Sydney CBD - Finance

Reporting to the Client Relationship Manager you will be responsible for managing the risk and relationship of a portfolio of Invoice Discounting and Factoring clients.
Responsibilities:
-Monitoring, Reviewing and Approving the monthly returns from our Invoice Discounting and Factoring Clients as per Company Policy.
-Ensuring that the monthly disapprovals are accurate and updated on a monthly basis for our Invoice Discounting Clients.
-Reconciling clients ledgers/customer accounts and identifying any risks/issues.
-Monitoring and managing the customer accounts to ensure that the funding levels are appropriate for the debt and debtor.
-Undertake risk assessments on client ledgers without affecting client/customer relationships
-Building and maintaining a good relationship with our clients as well as educating them with regards to our the operational procedures and system.
-Managing the clients daily banking and allocating to customers accounts (when necessary).
-Client Audits (as and when required)
-Dealing with client and debtor queries in a professional and timely manner.
-Provide prompt turnaround of daily funding whilst detecting early signs of fraud
-To assist with over and any other Adhoc tasks as and when required. Experience within a similar working environment in Finance is essential for this role. From establishing good working relationships with your clients to detecting potential risks, and diffusing customer disputes, you will rely on your professionalism, attention to detail and own initiative to meet the key objectives of this role.
To succeed you will be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills.
