Spare Parts Manager - Welshpool

Salary - $80k + Super + Bonuses

Role and Responsibilities

Must have a proven track record of leadership and seeking to grow a business unit with future opportunities.
Responsible for overseeing and coordination all aspects and operations of the parts department including inventory control, sales, planning, personnel, customer relations and administration.
Key Responsibilities
-Create monthly stock orders & weekly orders with suppliers.
-Manage daily activities of Spare Parts Interpreters.
-Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department and commercial and wholesale accounts.
-Receive spare parts physically into stock, checking all are correct & advising factory of shortfalls or damage.
-Keep spare parts inventory database up to date & correct.
-Carry out two stock takes per year.
-Transfer stock between branches.
-Create all purchase orders for workshop & other departments when needed.
-Liaise with sublet suppliers & create purchase orders for workshop.
-Receive sublet & purchase orders into MYOB and allocate to correct workshop job.
-Create workshop Invoicing for branches including making sure hours reflected on job card match with time billing in MYOB, sublets, parts & consumables are correct.
-Assist in establishing pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit whilst maintaining customer loyalty.
-Administer a new aggressive wholesale and retail parts program to produce profit.
-Provide technical assistance to employees and customers.
-Assist with warranty issues including parts which need to be returned.
-Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the Company's guidelines, forwards all concerns to the General Manager - Sales.
-Ensures that all returned or warranty parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit This role will be an immediate start for the successful candidate.
