Reporting to the General Manager, key responsibilities will include:-Providing OH&S advice across the site -Performing gap analysis and training needs analysis -Developing and implementing OH&S policies and procedures -Developing and implementing a contractor management system including an effective induction process -Overseeing the maintenance and ongoing management of the Safety Management System for the site -Facilitating claims management and RTW processes -Providing hands-on guidance to staff and contractors onsite -Undertaking risk assessments -Undertaking incident investigations, analysis and corrective actions -Delivering toolbox talks and safety walksTo be successful for this role, you will have: -A formal OH&S qualification (Cert IV minimum) -The ability to communicate at all levels, engage and influence with staff regarding safe work practices -A practical working knowledge of the current OHS legislation -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and safety auditsOn offer is an attractive remuneration package and the opportunity to be part of an exciting safety journey within a supportive and sincere working environment.
