Successful candidates will work in a 400 bed hospital based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, alongside other highly trained staff from around the world. The Nursing Department seeks experienced Intensive Care Nurse (ICU) Senior Staff Nurses for the in-patient service (Neuro and General Surgery plus Cardiology and Trauma). Minimum Requirements: Bachelor s degree (Nursing) and 2-5 years clinical nursing experience post registration, to include two years in intensive care. Post graduate Intensive Care Course preferred. Duties & Responsibilities: Performs all duties of the staff nurse plus the following: Incumbent requires a thorough current knowledge in all aspects of Intensive Care procedures and protocols and has demonstrated competency in this area. In general, all work is performed on 24/7 rotational assignment in any of the ICUs, (Medical, Surgical and Medical/Surgical Step-down).
Roles
Assist in complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, must be competent in caring for ventilated patients and patients with haemodynamic monitoring.
Procedures
Cardiac monitoring, twelve lead ECG analysis, mechanical ventilation and ABG analysis.
