This Mid North Coast NSW facility requires a Senior Anaesthetic Registrar to work within this local health district. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a great part of the world whilst continuing your career.
The hospital itself has 161 beds and four theatres. It provides 24 hour Emergency Services, Critical Care, Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Medicine, General and Vascular Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Paediatric Care and Mental Health Services to the people of the surrounding areas.
It is based in a small city which is approximately 350 km's North of Sydney and has a population of approximately 40,000 people. Reasonable priced housing, fantastic education and recreation facilities, combined with all the benefits of a healthy lifestyle make this region one of the fastest growing in NSW.

Selection Criteria: -
To be considered for this opportunity you will have the following:-
* Substantial experience in Anaesthetics at Registrar level
* MBBS
* 12 months clinical experience gained within a country with a comparable healthcare system to Australia. Comparable countries are:- UK, Ireland, NZ, USA and Canada
* Hold current registration or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
* If your medical degree was gained in a country where English is NOT a native or first language you will be required to take an English language. Accepted English language tests are IELTS (minimum score of 7 in each category), PLAB, OET and NZREX.
