Leading Marketing and Distribution company, a leader in its field requires a 2nd / 3rd Level Desktop support engineer for the South West Melbourne State office.
This is a mixed role providing both remote and onsite support services. Working with a Senior Engineer you will be required to provide desktop support and server administration services for a number of internal clients.
On a daily basis you will;
-Proactive monitoring of performance of networks and systems
-Troubleshooting and problem resolution.
-Monitor internal IT systems; availability, reliability & testing,
-Over the phone and on-site technical support
-Work on project, 20 - 30 % of time To succeed in this role you will have;
-Experienced Network and Server Engineer 2nd and 3rd level with:
-3 - 4 years working in a similar role
-Proven experience in working with Citrix - Essential
-Radio Frequency ( RF ) experience - Essential
-Basic Networking level expertise across firewalls and routers
-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 / 2008/2011 and Windows Desktops XP / Windows 7
-Exchange 2003 /2007/ 2010
-Demonstrated consistent ability to handle each support issue as they arise Highly advantageous:
-Citrix Certified Administrator
