Our Client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Human Resources Manager with Payroll Management experience to join their team in a demanding and challenging role located in the South West.
The HR Manager will be assisting the Site Operation Manager in all aspects of HR Management and would have preferably worked on major projects, as well as being able to meet the daily challenges that projects provide. This person will have a strong communication skills set, both written and verbal and posses a degree in HR Management or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
The following responsibilities will fall under the HR Managers duties.
* Provide IR and HR support to the site management team in the execution of their responsibilities.
* Hold the management team accountable for the timely and accurate compilation of timesheets.
* Identify and resolve IR issues whilst establishing a close working relationship with all stakeholders.
* Keep key stakeholders fully informed of the progress of any issues within the workforce.
* Monitor procedures for the recruitment of labour on the project, including the screening and issue of approval to employ personnel.
* Develop and maintain a healthy rapport with outside services and representatives.
* Maintain a comprehensive database of employee information relevant to project and payroll purposes.
* Authorise the release of consolidated timesheet information to payroll within agreed time frames.
* Ensure compliance with company polices and procedures.
* Development of a stable and increasingly productive workforce.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated HR and IR management experience with the ability to interpret awards, acts and remain compliant with relevant legislation compliance in a HR and payroll environment.
You will also have significant experience in industrial relations and HR management within a project or construction environment.
