Are you an experienced Site Design Manager/Lead Designer looking for the right opportunity to join a leading telecommunications company?
As the Site Design Manager/Lead Designer you will be directing the design team and be responsible for creating, reviewing and updating all site design documentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Managing and leading a team of designers. -Consulting with relevant stakeholders and the Systems Engineering Management Plan in order to develop, implement, review and improve, and ensure compliance with relevant processes and design templates to be used by the design team. -Developing site specific systems designs for each site which will include the creation of a bill of materials and managing the internal review and approval of site designs to submit to the project implementation team. -Updating the site designs to reflect the post implementation variations to the site designs or 'as-built' design on receipt of implementation information from the Implementation Team Leads. -Ensuring that quality assurance is applied in the development and finalization of all Site Designs. This will involve internal and external reviews by relevant stakeholders.
Key skills and experience:
-Monitoring and Control Systems (real time Delivery and performance management toolset) -Network Tower encompassing WAN, BAN, CAN and LAN solutions -A tertiary qualification in IT or telecommunications discipline or equivalent industry experience -Proven track record in producing IT designs -A minimum of 8 years plus industry relevant experience in the development of customer sourcing and delivery strategies. -Well developed analytical and engineering design development expertise. -Experience with a Systems Engineering Methodology and the delivery of complex ICT Engineering Plans and Specifications utilising the methodology.
