This role is working for a top tier builder in regional Victoria doing civil construction on a major institutional building.
They require a Project Engineer with a civil backgrounds and qualifications. Ideally the successful candidate will have roads as well as infrastructure, and exposure to structures would be advantageous.
In this position you would be expected to
-Compile short range and medium range programmes alongside the Infrastructure SM and Foreman
-Produce staging drawings and plans for construction works
-Manage the QA process for Infrastructure
-Assist with on-site design issue resolution and design review
-Assist with administering the environmental management plan
-Assist with variation reviews and commercial management of subcontractors To be successful in this position you will possess the following skills:
-Tertiary qualification in civil engineering
-High degree of proficiency in programming and planning using MS Project
-Be confident at resource planning and scheduling
-Able to effectively communicate with consultants, sub contractors and the client.
-Proven experience of driving projects to completion achieving cost, quality and time targets.
-Experience with Australian/NZ or international D&C and hard dollar projects.
-A team orientated individual who wants to work in an expanding business. This project has at least another 12 months left to go and the salary package will be attractive to attract the right candidate.
