Our international customer is seeking to appoint a talented HROM generalist to support their ever growing and dynamic Australian region. The main purpose of the role is to lead and administer HR functions to the business, leading a team of 4 specialists. Your focus operationally and strategically will incorporate leading your HR Unit across recruitment (with hands on experience recruiting at Management level), remuneration, Career Development, L&D & Performance Management, whilst undertaking key responsibilities as the EEO officer and provide high level IR advice (and in consultation with experts) Your key responsibilities will include: -Lead coach and mentor a team of 4 -Providing HR consulting advice to peer managers -Oversee the Rem plans, co-coordinating the evaluation and documentation of work -Remain abreast of market Rem rates to provide input into annual salary structure review and budgets -Develop Rem budgets for HR unit -Manage all recruitment functions for Australia including graduate and intern programs -Support succession planning through the development of career development programs and resources including coordinating employee development plans, advising line managers and employees on suitable programs, both internal and external -Manage immigration activities for expatriate employees -Assist in IR matters including Enterprise Bargaining -Facilitate training programs supporting line managers in their understanding of PM tools, skills gap analysis and employee career pathway planning and execution. -HR related Project Managements Key to your success in this role is your genuine motivation to support the achievement of business objectives by aligning HR strategy, to ensure the best people and culture opportunities are achieved. What you will bring to this role include -A proven history of leadership success -Experience managing the recruitment function, with hands on management recruitment experience -Relevant undergraduate qualification in HR or Organisational Psychology -Experience working within the business as an individual contribute and leader, before transitioning into HR -An aptitude towards L&D -Demonstrated HRIS Management skills (SAPHR adv. but not essential) -Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills with a genuine partnership approach -advanced written and verbal communication skills -A high level understanding of IR -Confident facilitation skills -The availability to travel internationally every two years and nationally once a quarter.
