Role: With a strong emphasis on safety you will be responsible for supervising work teams and members of the construction and maintenance team including the foreman in what is a reasonably complex construction project.
As the Capital Works Supervisor at this company you will have many responsibilities, these may include:-Verify that works are undertaken in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality plans, safety plans, environmental plans and traffic management plans. -Monitor performance and review maintenance process and activities across the network. -Responsible for active participation and performance to OSH standards. -Supervise all aspects of road building materials in a safe and efficient manner.
To be successful in securing the role you will preferably have: -Experience in a similar role -Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare technical recommendations -A sound knowledge of road construction and maintenance practices -Reading and interpreting technical drawings -A proven track record of building and enhancing stakeholder relationships -Pavement construction, bituminous surfacing and asphalting processes and techniques -Coordination and supervision of traffic management and traffic management subcontractors -Possession of a current Western Australian 'C' Class (car) motor vehicle drivers licence or an approved equivalent.
Hours/Roster: Flexible and agreed on appointment.
