This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Modeller/Data Analyst to join a continually growing organisation. Reporting to the Datawarehouse Manager you will be involved in an array of both operational and project initiatives, to ensure the best possible service for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
-Work closely with various project teams and SMEs for DW & BI tasks and initiatives
-Identifying relevant databases, information sources, applicable user applications and processes, as well as data governance and life cycles
-Design, development and testing activities for Business Intelligence solutions
-Offer your knowledge and expertise to development teams, explaining the Business Intelligence Data model
-Post-live support for BI data model and training activities
Relevant Skills/Experience:
-Proven experience in similar roles, including the delivery of Enterprise Information Management and/or Business Intelligence solutions
-High level knowledge in skills in data analysis, quantitative analysis, Datamodelling, operations research and data manipulation
-Proficiency in Datamodelling tools, eg ERWIN, Enterprise Architect
-Solid understanding of relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server, and experience in database querying
-Solid understanding of the full SDLC, including support and maintenance
-A grasp on information management and its importance to corporate environments
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
The role will suit a self-starter with excellent communication skills, the ability to interact well with business and technical users and a high level of initiative.
