Fantastic opening for an experienced IT Network Implementation Engineer to join a large successful IT Service Management firm.The IT Network / System Engineer will help maintain and administrate all networks and servers across its clients user base remotely and on-site. Must be able to handle multiple simultaneous projects across network/servers and desktops. You must be organised and able to communicate effectively with end users in person and on the phone. Responsibilities -Administration, deploying, implementing and management of server/network infrastructure
-Provide at times third level telephone and on-site support to all users
-Support server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications.in a large enterprise environment.
-Management of systems ensuring maximum system availability by maintaining a stable, standard and secure technology platform.
-Deliver tasks in accordance with project plans and dependencies.
-Manage the backup
Skills -Strong experience of Windows 2003/2008 server issues, problem solving and implementation
-Experience supporting Active Directory - deployment and management
-Experiences with Exchange system 2003 / 2007
-Experience with Citrix, Voip and Vmware
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Experience in implementing and managing network security and policy
-Manage the backup and restoration regime across the companys data
-Experience working with multiple clients
-Strong networking skills including: LAN/WAN experience and TCP/IP networking skills
-CCNA
