One of Australia's largest credit unions is currently seeking a talented Senior .NET Web Developer to join their team to provide technical leadership in designing, developing and supporting multi-tier systems and applications.
Key responsibilities:
-Assist the eBusiness Manager with the selection of technology directions and project planning -Assist in project planning throughout the software development life cycle -Primarily responsible for designing, developing and implementing complex and scalable systems with company standards on time and within budget with exceptional quality -Gathers feedback from internal and external design and technical staff on business and member requirements for developing the Credit Union online applications. -Designs and builds multi-tier or SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) application using various technologies. -Collaborates with other technical personnel on specifics of projects, new technologies, security, infrastructure requirements, implementation programs and deployment deadlines.
Technical criteria:
-CMS development (advanced knowledge) - knowledge of Sitecore or similar would be advantageous -Development environment: Visual Studio 2008/2010, MS SQL 2005/2008, Source Control, IIS, Unit Testing, Windows Server 2003/2008 or preferable Server Core 2008 R2 -Languages: ASP.NET, C#.NET, T-SQL, XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, JavaScript -Methodologies: Agile, SDLC, OO, TEST-DRIVEN, Waterfall -Technology: .NET Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5, preferable 4.0. -Knowledge of SEO -Advanced knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and user interface (UI) consideration -Ability to design and develop complex system / multi tier applications -Experience with system integration would be advantageous. -Ability to understand requirements and translate the business requirements into technical requirements specifications -Good knowledge of security related to Web
