Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer will include (but is not restricted to);
-Work within a small team to plan, direct and coordinate activities in preparing detailed design plans of electrical equipment
-Prepare clear and accurate working plans and detailed design of electrical equipment, and ensure that all goals and objectives of the project are accomplished in the prescribed time frame and budget
-Analyse equipment specifications and performance requirements, and determine feasibility of designing new or modifying existing equipment considering costs, time limitations and other technical factors
-Liaise with other discipline lead engineers, drafters and sub-consultants to ensure optimal design outcomes and coordinated design efforts Skills and Experience this Electrical Engineer should possess;
-Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or Australia working visa is essential
-Bachelor degree qualifications in electrical engineering and accredited in Australia
-10-15 years engineering design and consulting experience (experience in mining projects desirable)
-Membership of the Australian Institute of Engineers desirable
-Display a willingness and determination to achieve a high-standard of results, strong communication and leadership skills, good time management and keen problem-solving skillsThis opportunity is for:
