-Civic location -Security clearance preferred Our client is looking for a number of motivated applicants at the EL1 and EL2 level to work in a small and diverse team environment specialising in economic analysis. The successful applicant will be a flexible, strategic thinker with a strong analytical ability and who can provide insight as well as rigorous analysis to priority issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to shape and implement key initiatives to meet government agendas will be a key to the success of this exciting opportunity. The duties of this position will include: -Complex work associated with the development of economic policy advice that contributes to Government objectives; -Economic research, analysis and reporting that supports the development of high-level policy advice to the Minister and Senior Executives of the Department; -Preparing complex correspondence, briefs, analyses and submissions; and -Liaising with other Commonwealth agencies, State and Territory and local government organisations and private sector and international organisations. You must be an Australian Citizens and either hold or be eligible to recieve a current Baseline (Protected) or higher security clearance .
