Defence Architect Canberra Job in Australian Capital Territory, Australia

They are looking for an outstanding architect to join their team in either Canberra or Sydney. Your role is defence orientated so you will have the highest levels of security clearance possible. Following the implementation of the architecture projects, you will be able to manage the project phases so will evolve from a consultative business role to a technical engineer role. The consultative role will come in to place on a daily basis since your customer will inevitably have changes, so the ability and willingness to adapt is a must.

Essential requirements:

-Strong engineering background
-Solid experience in architecture - design, & implementation of infrastructure projects
-Must have a business head on you - Business Process Management and speak to end clients from board level to senior management
-As it is a key authority role in design, engineering qualifications are essential
-Technical design experience in networks, storage, backup, virtualisation will be a bonus
-4+ years experience across complete industry lifecycle covering pre sales, consulting, system design, implementation and support
