This globally recognized company is a leader in the design and manufacture of flight control components for commercial and defence aircraft. With a very busy and continually growing Australian operation, they are now requiring the service of a Liaison Engineer for engineering investigations and dispositions of nonconforming products.
Reporting to the Engineering Operations Manager you will be supporting the operations team. Your main tasks will be to investigate production non-conformances and develop engineering dispositions, exercising engineering Material Review Board delegation to approve dispositions for incorporation by product. You will also be responsible for developing corrective action plans for repeat non-conformances requiring design change or engineering action.
To be successful in this role you will need tertiary qualifications in engineering. An Aerospace , Structures or Mechanical Engineering degree will be highly regarded. A further requirement is to have metallics and composite design experience in the the structural or stress analysis of the product. If you have a proven skill set in this area, please apply.
