Our client is a leading software solutions provider to a number of government departments around Australia. Renowned for being at the forefront of technology, a software engineering position (for a professional with over five years of commercial experience) has opened due to expansion and consolidated growth within the team.Some of the responsibilities the successful C++/Java software engineer will be working on include complex distributed systems, GUI development, and API development. Developing complex software for government agencies, some past typical applications that the client has produced include cutting-edge GUI applications. The majority of the programming will be done in Java and C++ combined with some database programming responsibilities. This role is offered as a contract with potenital to be permanent for the right person. Ideally the C++/Java Software Engineer will hold a degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering disciplines. Due to the classified nature of the work, C++/Java Software Engineers must possess a current Defence Security Clearance.
