SALES ENGINEER | INSTRUMENTATION | GLOBAL COMPANY


The Company

For over 50 years, we been developing innovative solutions used to test the quality of water, other liquids and air. We are currently looking for an Analytical Sales Engineer for sales of our Analytical products to an established customer base in the water, waste and food industries. You will balance your activities between account management and aggressively seeking out new business opportunities. You will have strong technical skills, understand solution selling and aren t afraid to ask for orders.

The Role

Through effective territory management, the role of this position is to actively promote water instrumentation and equipment with in the assigned territory seeking new opportunities and prospects across various industries with a split to existing, new and key account customers. You will prepare and implement detailed sales plans and objectives whilst managing your time and administration effectively.

The candidate

You will have a strong instrumentation sales background (2-5 years) with a proven track record in sales. You will have extensive water instrumentation, equipment and process knowledge with experience in industrial instrumentation also considered. You will be highly motivated and well presented with strong negotiation skills and closing techniques. Candidates with a BA or BSc degree in Analytical chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent work experience will be highly regarded. Alternate Science degrees or proven sales experience will be considered. Instrumentation and/or Process Control Trade qualification or trade will also be considered.
