Our top tier EPC client has recently won a significant gas turbine power project providing you the perfect opportunity to join their expanding energy division and sink your teeth into your next project. An award winning business, they have secured a pipeline of work and future projects.Their immediate requirement is for a Senior Electrical Engineer with demonstrated experience and proficiency with the delivery of electrical protection and control systems on large scale gas turbine construction projects. Initially office based for 6 months you will then mobilise to site for the remaining 12-18 months of the project for which you will receive an additional 25% site allowance. In order to be considered for the role you must possess tertiary level qualifications in Electrical Engineering with excellent interpersonal skills being a prerequisite, as is senior level experience. Key Responsibilities will include:
-Planning, co-ordinating and assisting with the supervision of construction and commissioning works.
-Meeting project objectives by drawing upon Project Management processes and experience.
-Contribute to promoting a positive teamwork environment.
-Providing engineering/technical advice and direction to sub-contractors to ensure that excellence is achieved in work progress, HSE and QA outcomes.
-Resolution management of technical, design and constructability related issues to achieve project D&C outcomes.
