Do you enjoy all aspects of communications and love the variety it has to offer? Media relations, internal communications, web writing, social media, stakeholder engagement and writing strategy to name a few? This is a truly broad role that will see you designing, setting and implementing your strategy for the organisation and ensuring key messages and identity are distributed through a multitude of channels.
Working autonomously under minimal supervision, you will step into a dynamic role and hit the ground running immediately, feeling comfortable managing multiple projects with a variety of deadlines. Own your role! Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Effective and engaging writing for a variety of audiences
* Development and implementation of media strategy
* Proactively manage media liaison and key media relationships
* Development and implementation of engaging internal communications strategy
* Coordinate key stakeholder engagement events
* Manage and develop corporate identity and branding
* Prepare internal and external publications including annual report
* External liaison and management of designers and agencies
* Social media management
* Stakeholder management
* Preparation and implementation of advertising
* Maintain a crisis management plan for organisation
This truly is a unique opportunity for a communications specialist to spread their wings and expand their skillset. The successful applicant will feel comfortable translating complex writing into simple but effective communications pieces, and have demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and engagement. With an ideal background being in the not-for-profit / education or health sectors, you will be tertiary qualified and have a natural enthusiasm for all things communications related. Whilst this is a 12 month contract initially, it is highly likely the role will most extend beyond this.
