As a practical and outcomes focused accounting professional with several years of systems experience, you will be instrumental in working tactically and strategically to improve the quality of processes, effectiveness and the outcomes of the corporate services function.
You will facilitate the improvement of financial and business process models that support the various planning and reporting requirements of the business. Your first step will be to identify areas for improved policies, processes and procedures of the finance function, mapping current methodologies and enabling further automation and lean processes. You will also review the current ERP, business intelligence and reporting tools as part of a project team, assisting with recommendations and potentially implementing new/improved systems. Critically you will be able to create these changes at the head office level and then implement streamlined processes and systems across a number of sites around the world.Being 'hands on' and commercially outcomes focused you will ensure that these business improvements are aligned with the overall company HR strategy. A confident and articulate communicator, you will ensure continuous improvement of new and updated policies, procedures & systems for the business, including the effective communication & deployment of those policies.
This position requires a proven and capable Systems Accountant who has improved, led and managed a shared services function previously. You will have delivered measurable improvements within a medium to large organization, and be seeking your next challenge. Being a dynamic professional, thriving on stress and the diversity of challenges as comes with such a multi faceted role and progressive organisation. You will be tertiary qualified, bringing significant relevant experience across accounting and IT and be seeking a delivery role where you can make a great impact. Salary package to circa 150K.
