Business Analyst Job in Australia

Multiple Business Analysts required to support and assist the Programme Management Office to identify, analyse and facilitate improvements to business systems, processes and workflows aligned with the overall business requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Evaluate business needs and contribute to the design and development of business solutions using specialist technical capability.
-Provide technical advice to contribute to improved efficiency and effectiveness of the division's operations.
-Monitor the technical development of systems implementation ensuring that key development milestones are met.
-Shape, monitor and evaluate business plans and strategies and make recommendations.
-Liaise with customers and IT staff to undertake requirements analysis, scope projects and develop project proposals.
-Project manage the implementation phase of each solution or business improvement to ensure minimal disruption and downtime.
-Create clear, detailed project scoping and design documentation to be used by technical specialists to build business appropriate solutions.
-Preparation of Test Plans and Test Cases.
You will have:

-5+ years business analysis and project management experience.
-Proven skills in use case development, functional requirements and business process analysis.
-Strong requirements gathering background with proven experience in delivering detailed requirements specifications documentation.
-Proven experience in leading and facilitating business analysis and modelling workshops.
-Experience with IT Software Development Lifecycle and management of IT technical resources.
-Relevant tertiary and postgraduate qualifications and/or equivalent experience.

You will be communicating with technical and business users so excellent communication skills is crucial for this role.

Knowledge of BPMN, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Project Server is highly desirable.
