An opportunity has become available for an Senior Asset Strategy Engineer to secure a 6 month short term position based in Perth. We are currently looking for a professional best practice asset management strategies, to deliver optimal life cycle performance for nominated asset class including: development and maintenance standards, risk mitigation strategies and preparation of work plans.
Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader your duties will include:
-Carry out duties in accordance with Power safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.
-Influence other areas of the business to deliver projects to required cost, quality and time.
-Optimise performance of assets in a context of constrained funding
-Demonstrate a commitment by engaging stakeholders and managing customer expectations
-Define and document best practice asset management standards
-Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the management of assets
-Prepare and justify prudent and efficient work plans complex business cases for capital expenditure, operations and maintenance expenditure
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve asset and works program performance objectives.
To be successful you must have:
-Degree qualified
-Advanced financial analysis skills
-Eligible for Professional Engineer membership (MIEAust)
-Eligible for Certified Associate in Asset Management (CAAM)
-10+ years experience In return you will be offered a 6 month Perth based contract with competitive hourly rates.
