This facility comprises 70 beds (41 bed low care hostel and 29 bed high care) offering long term care and short term respite care. Various Casual Positions (with view to permanent part time) are now available! We are recruiting for: -Personal Carers
-Kitchen & Hotel Services employees
-Registered Nurses
Personal Carers will have: - Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated knowledge in the care needs of the older person
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- An understanding of ACFI
Registered Nurses will have: - All of the above, aswell as:
- Current Registration with the National Registration Board
- Demonstrated skills in meeting the clinical needs of residents and an ability to act in charge of the Facility outside normal business hours.
Kitchen and Hotel Service employees will have: -Teamwork capabilities
-Previous experience as a cook is favourable
In addition, the successful applicant must have a commitment and empathy with the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army, excellent time management skills and Organizational Skills.
