We are actively seeking a contract administrator for this leading refurbishment & fitout contractor covering commercial, industrial and retail projects. The role of the contract administrator will involve the support of the project teams in the management of a number of projects from commencement to finalisation covering projects up to $20m Your main duties will involve -Preparing and checking subcontract packages, scopes and lettings, procurement schedules -Preparation of head contract, progress claims, delay claims and client variations -Reviewing, negotiating, administering and finalising subcontracts -Checking and processing subcontractor claims and creditor invoices -Cost management, forecasting and project performance reporting -Establishing and administering the project's OHS system -Administering RFIs to clients, architects and consultants -Document control for drawings and correspondence -Assisting site supervision -The prompt management of defects through the defects liability period including the management of the defects register -Compiling "as built" drawings, manuals and supplier and subcontractor warranties prior to and following practical completion -We will accept applications from individuals who are degree qualified in building or engineering -Have outstanding communication and negotiation skills and have an eye for detail. -Be well organised This is a great opportunity to join a motivated team and well established company so if you match the required criteria please send your CV and covering letter to appropriate link or call Joe on 02 # |
