This organisation have been operating with the Melbourne construction market for many years, predominantly within the South East Suburbs. Projects have been across the range including education, health, retail, residential and offices, including both fit out and new build. With new projects due to kick off in the New Year they require the services of a strong project manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-You will be responsible for managing the delivery of commercial projects from inception to completion which will include:
-Setting programs and budgets from structure through to handover
-Managing client and consultant relationships
-Driving construction teams and subcontractors on site
-Bringing projects in on time, to quality and under budget To be considered for this position you will require:
-Experience managing complex commercial construction projects, ideally in excess of $10 Million
-Sound knowledge of the Victorian construction market including unions, sub contractors etc
-Ability to lead and performance manage a large construction team to achieve agreed outcomes.
-Tertiary Qualifications an advantage but not essential About the company
-Commercial Builder established for over 20 years
-Diverse commercial construction projects between $1million & $20million
-Lots of repeat clients mainly operating out of South East
