Our global client is currently seeking a Service Design & Improvement Manager to assist managing Project Service, Design and Improvement for their Enterprise Service Management Centre. This senior role is key in the transition development, roll out of Continuity, Capacity, and Availability & Service Level Management processes.

The role of the Service Design & Improvement Manager is to:

-Ensure coordination of activities across the Client's business and Service Providers
-Participate in governance meetings
-Develop, implement and maintain all ITIL processes across the ESMC and Service Providers
-Ensure supporting procedures and work instructions developed within respective Service Providers to support the governing processes
-Develop and implement continuous service improvement process in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Manager.
-Define the procedures for making the measurements and determine the tools to be used to support gathering of the data and other measurement.
-Identify the roles, responsibilities and define any policies necessary to support service measurement
-Define a business-focused service reporting framework
-Define policies and rules with the business and Service Design about how reporting will be implemented and managed.
-Determine what to measure and what to report on, definitions of all terms and boundaries
-Demonstrates full spectrum leadership principles
-Define reporting schedules, access to reports and mediums to be used
-Schedule meetings to review and discuss reports
-Decide the criteria for continual improvement initiatives
-Participate in the monthly Program Management Committee, weekly Service Delivery Committee, Project Delivery and quarterly Service Provider Coordinating Council meetings

The desirable candidate will have experience delivering complex ICT Service Management Programs in an ITIL space and strong background in Program/Project Management. As this is a leadership role you will also have a flair for dealing with people of all levels and technical ability.
