We are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer with extensive experience of mining operations to join a global company in Mount Isa, QLD. The operation is a mixture of underground and open pit mines
You will be responsible for a wide range of project engineering activities including design, management of resources and contractors, contract management, construction, installation and commissioning of projects up to $5M in value. You will have a number of junior staff working under you so you should have some project and team management experience.
We are looking for a suitably qualified Electrical Engineer which could mean degree or a trade background, any Project Management qualifications would be a bonus as would exposure to control systems. Experience in the mining industry is essential and a background in fixed plant such as conveyors would be desirable. |
