Lloyd Morgan's Finance Team have been asked to recruit a Finance Manager for a well known privately owned Australian business. This organisation focuses on food production, alternative energy solutions and land restoration programs. Due to steady growth this newly created position will provide proactive, effective and efficient finance services that support the effective management and operations of the company.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will regularly liaise with auditors, accountants, tax consultants; banking and superannuation representatives; insurers; suppliers and contractors. Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
-Technical accounting matters, notably around valuation and major transactions -Risk and insurance -Financial controls, policies and procedures -Financial management and reporting -Financial analysis, forecasting and cash-flow management -Budget development, monitoring and variance analysis -Regional travel from time to time

The ideal candidate will have effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, communicate professionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and prepare reports. CA/CPA qualifications are a prerequisite for this role along with strong experience in statutory reporting, taxation and Microsoft Excel. |
