Experienced Workers Comp Technical Manager, here is your chance to move out of an agency environment and make a career change into the Life Insurance industry! This pro-active and energetic Life Insurance team needs your skills to take on a Claims Assessor roles and use your RTW, Injury Management skills. The role suit a Workers Comp professional at Technical Manager, Injury Manager/RTW level and focus on the assessment of Life Insurance claims including TPD, Income Protection, Salary Continuance and Trauma, by thorough examination and analysis of medical, financial and claims data and determine return to work and rehabilitation process. You will also be required to write an assessment decision from scratch, and approve any payments. To be considered for this role, you MUST be:
-experienced Technical Manager or Injury Manager/RTW Advisor from a Workers Compensation background
-exceptional skills in assessment of injury, RTW and rehabilitation requirements
-strong skills to analyse medical and financial information, and formulate a decision pursuant to the policy
-strong client service ability with proven experience in dealing directly with claimants/employers
-genuine desire for a career transition out of Workers Comp
