Quarry Manager - 2 Month Contract FIFO Pilbara Region - 8/6 roster Salary $200k+ Purpose Oversee Production, Finance & Administration and Maintenance departments onsite. Assist and support the Project Manager as directed. Liaise with client personnel as required by Project Manager. Key Skills
-Prepare and submit statutory and internal reports required by the Company, Client, and external agencies.
-Oversee preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports as required for internal and Client dissemination.
-Oversee preparation and delivery of short, medium and long term mine planning processes.
-Oversee maintenance and upgrade of data reporting systems and database to ensure accuracy and efficiency of reports.
-Maintain contacts within regulatory bodies to maintain relationships and keep communication channels open.
-Attendance and active participation at prestart, toolbox talks, production senior leadership team and other meetings.
-Maintain a professional relationship with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Assist all departments with Subcontractor Management - including development of Subcontractor Management Plans.
-Ensure plans are communicated to required departments and that written plans are made available to operating crews. Essential Skills/Qualifications
-Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining/Civil Engineering or Financial Management.
-WA Quarry Managers Ticket
-Substantial experience in a Mining environment and previous experience working at a senior management level.
-Competent understanding of MS Office, JDE and other financial or mining related programs used onsite.
-Competent understanding of Contract Management.
-Competent understanding of Basic Accounting.
-Advanced Writing Principles.
-Advanced Mathematical/Analytical Principles.
-Knowledge of the WA Mining Safety & Inspection Act and Regulations.
-Knowledge of the WA Explosives Act and Regulations and relevant Australian Standards.
-Knowledge of the WA Environmental Protection Act.
