Job numbers rising and TipTopJob reduce single job posting to £99
TipTopJob have reduced the price for a single job posting across their network of sites in the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand from £199 to £99 per job. The drop in price is applicable to all postings for a 30 day period. This comes at a time when, although it has been reported that the recession is officially over, the reality is that the marketplace remains tough. By halving the cost of a single job posting TipTopJob are helping companies who may still be suffering.
There are signs of slow progress however. Trends from the first quarter of 2010 clearly show that jobs advertised have been rising by about 5% each month. A positive sign that companies are starting to pick up their recruitment processes this year.
Mike Dauncey, comments, “The first quarter of 2010 has not been as fast and as easy as we have all expected, but we have noticed an increase in the number of jobs advertised across industry sectors in both the UK and Worldwide. We are piloting the reduction of a single job posting and we hope this attracts people to our site for one off recruitment needs.”
